That's great!!--Muzammil (talk) 04:52, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Comments/suggestions: looks good, I have the following suggestions: AustralianRupert (talk) 05:52, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • in the lead: "under the command of Lieutenant Colonel A. S. Wilder". This is probably unnecessary detail for the lead;
  • Deleted from the lead.
  • name presentation: if possible, full names should be used (although I understand that this may not be possible given the sources, in which case please just adjust any that you can, if any)
  • Done where possible.
  • "battalion embarked for active service abroad on 27 August 1940...": do we know what ship they sailed on?
  • Have added.
  • inconsistent spelling and caps: "service in the Pacific Theater of Operations" v. "redeployed in the Pacific theatre"
  • Have fixed.
  • missing word: "rest of 6th Brigade" --> "rest of the 6th Brigade"
  • Have fixed.
  • missing word: " 1943, 25th Battalion participated..." --> "... 1943, the 25th Battalion participated..."
  • Have fixed.
  • "a nighttime..." --> "a night-time..."
  • Have fixed
  • "Takrouna-Enfidaville road" --> the hyphen should be an unspaced endash;
  • Have fixed.
  • missing word: "attached to 5th Brigade" --> "attached to the 5th Brigade;
  • Have fixed.
  • spelling: "reconnoiter" --> "reconnoitre"
  • Have fixed.
  • " 26 Panzer Division" --> missing ordinal suffix "th" (for consistency)
  • Have fixed.
  • "During the war, the 25th Battalion lost 531 officers..." Do we know how many served in the battalion altogether?
  • No, not throughout the war. I have slightly revised this sentence for clarity.
  • "Distinguished Service Order (DSO)"...the abbreviation should be introduced earlier in the article when the term is first used;
  • Have fixed.
  • "infantry companies" --> "rifle companies"?
  • Have fixed.
  • missing words: " of 21st Battalion in preparation for an assault across the Fiumicino River by 24th and 26th Battalions..." --> " of the 21st Battalion in preparation for an assault across the Fiumicino River by the 24th and 26th Battalions..."
  • Have fixed.
  • the endashes in the COs list are not quite correct in how they are spaced. Where there is a space in the date, there should be a space between the dash. For instance, this is not correct "December 1943–February 1944", it should be "December 1943 – February 1944"
  • Have fixed.
  • in the References, Plowman should be before Pugsley alphabetically
  • Have fixed.
  • in the References, "Auckland: Allen & Unwin" --> "Auckland, New Zealand: Allen & Unwin" for consistency with the other entries
  • Have fixed.
  • "File:25th Battalion Infantry, Italy, April 1945.jpg": needs a US licence in addition to the NZ licence. "PD-US-1996" should be sufficient
  • "File:25th Battalion infantry moving towards Florence, 1944.jpg": same as above
  • "File:25th Battalion infantry during the attack on the Senio River, 1945.jpg": same as above
  • Have add US licence tags to all three images.

AustralianRupert, Thanks for the review, I believe I have addressed all your points. Cheers. Zawed (talk) 02:22, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
