motorisation date conflicts in references provided

Wendel, Marcus (2004). "29. Infanterie-Division (mot)". Retrieved April 10, 2005.

as of Last update: 25 Aug 2009 the website now states:

29. Infanterie-Division (mot) was formed as 29. Infanterie-Division in October 1936 and was reorganized as a motorized division in August 1939

This appears to refer to the reorganisation conducted in 1939 reducing the size of the 4 existing motorised divisions from 9 infantry battalions to 6 rather than the motorisation date - see http://www.panzergrenadier.org/division1a.html

the other reference provided - 29. Infanteriedivision". German language article at www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de, with photo. (Follow links to cover the division's entire history.) Retrieved April 10, 2005

states that it was in Herbt (Fall) of 1937. looking thru the reference data they provide shows that the 3 infantry regiments were all motorised during "herbst" or "october". the other components do not appear to have motorisation dates.

printed reference material such as Panzer Grenadier Divisions 1939-1945, amber books, isbn978-1-905704-29-3 state that motorisation was "through 1937"

perhaps Wendel, Markus (2004) should be reclassified as an external link rather than a reference supporting the accuracy of the article ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.243.66.72 (talk) 11:49, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
