32nd Alpine Engineer Regiment32nd Engineer Regiment (Italy) – Unit name has been changed in 2015. The "Alpine" was dropped from its name. Please move to the current and correct name as shown on the Italian Army website. noclador (talk) 21:40, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The unit was only created in 2004, renamed in 2015. If you do a google search for its old name: you get 142 results, not one of which is in the last 3 years. If you search for its current name you get 2,990 results and if you take the new name without the affix "Alpino" you still get 656 results and if you only look for the last 3 years you get articles in La Stampa, La Fedelta, Targato, Libero.it, Report Difesa, etc. No one ueses the old name anymore. The only two relevant sources here are: the Italian Army 32° Reggimento Genio Guastatori and the Italian Ministry of Defense 32° Reggimento Genio Guastatori. Speedy move and be done with it. noclador (talk) 11:20, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Nom shows no understanding of or respect for Wikipedia processes or policies... The only two relevant sources here are: the Italian Army... and the Italian Ministry of Defense... What absolute rubbish, these are primary sources and of little relevance (not none). Earlier links may be more relevant but in view of this complete failure to consider the naming policy, TLDR. Redir already exists, so no damage in leaving this for a year or so and then see whether a valid RM can be considered. Andrewa (talk) 11:52, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

History of proposed target:

 19:09, 11 September 2012‎ Noclador talk contribs block‎  43 bytes 0‎  ←Redirected page to 32nd Alpine Engineer Regiment
05:00, 15 May 2011‎ Noclador talk contribs block‎  43 bytes +43‎  moved 32nd Engineer Regiment (Italy) to 32nd Alpini Engineer Regiment: one more move necessary - as this unit has yet another new name that is different from the other new names of the Alpine units
