Untitled

[edit]

"Which interesting enough both movies are among the most successful films ever and are both in the top 10 adjusted films ever made."

Neither is this.

[edit]

"Which was ironic as the year before Patty Duke set a then record for the youngest winner ever."

Or this.

[edit]

"Making it have the most wins ever for a film not nominated for best picture."

Please proofread your work—as reading this sort. Of sentence construction is. Annoying and unprofessional looking for Wikipedia. Which makes it look like a hack wrote it. 24.211.215.187 (talk) 04:44, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. The sentences you refer to were on the page for the 36th Academy Awards, not the 38th, so I don't know why your comments ended up here. In any case these sentences are now gone - I spotted and edited them on the 25th March. Nora nettlerash (talk) 10:55, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Formatting for this and other Academy Award pages

[edit]

As regular viewers of the Academy Award pages will know, the layout for the awards from this page up to the 49th Awards are in a plain bullet-point format, whereas all the others are in a nice neat two-column table. I've changed this one to the table layout, and plan to do the same for the others over the coming weeks. Apologies for not beginning discussion on this before going ahead, but I assume since the majority are in this format, and the bullet-point ones are less complete anyway, the table layout would generally be the preferred option.

If anyone feels like helping me out with this task, or has any constructive comments to make, they would be most welcome.

Regards,
