Uncertainties in pronunciation
[edit]ǀXam is extinct. We don't know how it was pronounced exactly, and this problem is especially acute with proper names. The comments about what the clicks might be exactly are taken from discussion with Bonny Sands, the Khoisanist who made the recordings that are used by Will Grundy and in this article, rather than my own OR.
