correct lemma?

[edit]

Hi there :-)

In my opinion the lemma should be called only "4Ever" instead of "Prince 4Ever", cuz Prince is the artist and „4Ever“ is the title of the greatest hits album. Other opinions? --Funky Man (talk) 17:01, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

All the sources we have call the album Prince 4Ever. Many album titles can include the artist's name in this fashion (see Bowie Legacy and Ultimate Prince) Doc StrangeMailboxLogbook 19:51, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Not all sources, see Amazon.com: https://www.amazon.com/4Ever-2CD-Prince/dp/B01MDP1PZY/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1477264274&sr=8-5&keywords=prince+4ever --Funky Man (talk) 23:15, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, according to the german official press release of Warner Music.de the album is called "Prince 4Ever", here is the link: http://www.warnermusic.de/news/2016-10-25/prince-4ever-erscheint-am-2511-remasterte-deluxe-version-purple-rain-anfang-2017 --Funky Man (talk) 15:33, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The album title makes more sense when it is "Prince 4ever". It makes sense because it is his first post mortal album, so the title suggests: "Prince lives on 4ever through his music". Naming the album Prince 4ever also stops people from confusing it with the song 4ever on his album LotusFlow3r. If your argument wins though, we should also change the album "Ultimate Prince" into "Ultimate". I would like us to be consistent. --DJ FunkFunk 15:32, 22 March 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Djfunkfunk (talkcontribs)

Apparently, a new EP by Prince called Deliverance has been released. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrakd002.302 (talkcontribs) 14:16, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, its release was canceled. See https://www.theguardian.com/music/2017/apr/21/prince-deliverance-ep-blocked-by-estate or any Google news search results. Ss112 14:22, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
