$1M for Loren in 1963?[edit]

I put a citation request tag on the statement that Sophia Loren was offered a million dollars in 1962-63 to appear in 4 For Texas. At that time, Elizabeth Taylor set the record for being offered $1 million to appear in Cleopatra. It sounds unlikely that a relatively modest western comedy would have offered anyone that sort of money.
