TL:DR

Are their any differences in the logo, excluding the obvious Radio > TV? -- [[ axg ◉ talk ]] 11:46, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

Yes. The radio version is very simplified text (the one currently used). The TV is more complexed and doesn't look as if it could be replicated into SVG format. I hadn't uploaded that version in case it violated copyright. Wesley Mouse 11:51, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Is their a link, as I've not seen it? -- [[ axg ◉ talk ]] 12:46, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Indeed, I should have added the link before - sorry for that, my head is up my own arse at the moment juggling Wiki-activity and Paralympic duties is not an easy task. Here's the link to the TV Festival Logo. Wesley Mouse 12:54, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Obviously, this is not a TV festival logo. It is logo of General Assembly as a whole. There hasn't yet been a TV Festival logo as such. Ruslanovich (talk) 18:37, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Maybe, but google search for ABU TV Song Festival Logo as well as the official site are both using that very logo. So on that basis there is nothing wrong with using that, images files can change at any given noticed. AxG is very good at this area of things, so he will soon work it out. Hence why I have stepped back, so not to stand on toes. Wesley Mouse 18:39, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Logo may be the same, but the dates on it are clearly dates of GA. We can use this logo when speaking about Beyond The Wave - which is also theme of GA. So far I haven't seen any logo with date of 14th of October in it. Ruslanovich (talk) 19:18, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Like I said, leave it with AxG, he is pretty good at this area of expertise, so I'd recommend allowing him to deal with this side of things.. And logos can change at any time, and easily updated if a new one becomes available. This happens all the time with Eurovision and Junior Eurovision article. Take for example, Eurovision Song Contest 2013; that is using a basic logo showing the contest name, host city, and the flag motif. Once the host releases the artwork, the article will be updated to show that new artwork. But for the sake of having some sort of pictorial data on here, then we'd be better going with something rather than nothing at all. Wesley Mouse 19:28, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
