notability

[edit]

There is very little information about this on the web. I've found one page [1] could give clues on where this content should be merged to if notability cant be established. John Vandenberg 02:15, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This compiler is listed as part of the "Pre-defined C/C++ Compiler Macros" assembly on SourceForge [2]. Google located what appears to be the home of this compiler, under Dave Ashley's homepage [3]. A page of documentation is provided here [4], which is what Google found. The source code for the compiler is available from the same site. aCC References; PROD

[edit]

I found references to an ACC compiler in two contexts, both very old:

  • a compiler for an open source game from Zandronum
  • a compiler for HP-UX machines (and mentions of SUN)

The first doesn't sound like a C compiler to me. The second is not MS-DOS, as the article states.

  • There is a download available from SourceForge, written by David Ashley for MS-DOS. It was last updated in 2009.

None of the other links in the previous post are still alive. I would PROD the article, having completed what I believe is an exhaustive search, but I am gunshy about such a drastic step. Rhadow (talk) 14:30, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
