I'd like to point out that, at least for "Away from Keyboard", it's not an acronym. It's an initialism. Acronyms are pronouncable. You don't say "Ahfck", you say "Ay-Eff-Kay". — Preceding unsigned comment added by DFTBA4ever (talk • contribs) 12:45, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a reason that edits adding the "away from keyboard" explanation keeps getting reverted? It's a common enough usage that every page that links here is in that context. Shuck That Jive (talk) 20:18, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
