Notable?[edit]

I have removed two entries from this dab page:

These entries violate two rules in the style for dab pages:

  • Every entry must have a [WP] link
  • Never include external links, either as entries or in descriptions. Disambiguation pages disambiguate Wikipedia articles, not the World-Wide Web. To note URLs that might be helpful in the future, include them on the talk page.

In addition, I am uncertain of the notability of these two companies. If someone believes them to be notable, then at the minimum, a stub page should be created for the companies listed. YBG (talk) 05:34, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Question about "main article"[edit]

Do you think we could change the setup so that AMR goes directly to here: Antimicrobial resistance? And the current AMR page is changed to be AMR (disambiguation)? As far as I can see, the Antimicrobial resistance article is bigger/more important than the other AMR articles? What do others think about this suggestion? How is it decided what's the "main page" for an abbreviation. Just based on view rates, I would assume? EMsmile (talk) 11:11, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

User:Doc James, what is your opinion on this? EMsmile (talk) 17:56, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Most people likely type out antimicrobial resistance rather than using the abbreviation. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 18:46, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
what makes you think that? Do you have any data on that? I always think of it in the abbreviated form - AMR. EMsmile (talk) 00:01, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
