requested review
[edit]Hey Stuart, I don't have time for a deeper review, but I wanted to post a few quick thoughts per your request. Thanks for your work getting this one up to speed. I think the article does still have some way to go toward neutrality. The controversy section is awfully long and without much response from a pro-ANN7 POV--has there really been no positive statements about the station, even from the station's own PR?
There's also some WP:SYNTH material in the section on Manyi; it's not clear to me why past incidents unrelated to ANN7 are being added to this article. A good rule of thumb is that if a source doesn't mention the subject of the article, it probably shouldn't be a source in it, especially if it's used for negative material. The word "controversial" generally seems overused throughout (it could be applied to anyone in public life).
To put it in perspective, right now the article gives equal words to a complaint about a billboard as about the station's programming and format. It's generally not a good idea to have a "controversy and criticism" section in an article at all, since it becomes a dumping ground for complaints without a balanced evaluation (see WP:CSECTION), but I think it's particularly problematic that this article is almost entirely a criticism section.
My suggestion would be to rewrite the "controversy" section as more of a station history; that would allow you to put positive statements about the station (even if just from their own releases) alongside the complaints, and contextualize these criticisms. Hope this helps! Thanks again for all your work, -- Khazar2 (talk) 13:30, 1 September 2013 (UTC)

Sale to Mzwanele Manyi
[edit]I have reverted recent edits about the sale of ANN7 to Mzwanele Manyi - the addition was poorly written and unsourced. It's also not clear whether the transaction has actually been concluded yet. A good source or two might help clear up the uncertainty (better grammar and typography would also be appreciated).
