Small finance is not microfinance

This company began operations financing cars and heavy vehicles. That is not microfinance. I found a recent article that states it "benefited from having no microfinance portfolio." This article mentions microfinance and AU Small Finance Bank, but it is saying that eight of the ten companies granted bank licenses were involved in microfinance, and AU was one of the two that were not involved in microfinance. Asset centre

I am not sure what this means in Indian banking. I think it might mean a location used only for receiving deposits from customers, without complete branch facilities. If so, what is the extent of services? Can a customer withdraw funds at an asset centre? Can they open accounts, or apply for a loan? Jack N. Stock (talk) 04:48, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
