One night stand[edit]

The little man had a one night stand with the first woman, but I strongly disagree the lyrics imply he's going to do the same to the barmaid. That is just the author of the comment's interpretation of the song, and seems like original research. They're clearly gonna go to her place after she gets off work, but what happens next the lyrics don't say. I think a plain and obvious reading supports that. Further interpretation about what happens next I think would need to be sourced to a notable critic or Harry Chapin himself to be supported in the article. - Gripdamage (talk) 17:23, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
