Name

[edit]

Somehow, I don't think this book was written by Lord Haw-Haw?!?!?!?

Changed, and the broken link to the real William Joyce fixed.

Summary

[edit]

I changed a part of this article describing the personality of wilburs best friend, the protagonist. In the actual book, there is very little reference to the protagonists personality at all. It's just a simple adventure with no morals or stuff lurking about.

Now, THAT is a better title! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.170.133.245 (talk) 23:19, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, someone keeps vandalizing this page using my computer. I'm sorry. It's probably my sibling or neighbor. I'll fix it when I can. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.177.60.232 (talk) 01:26, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Plot

[edit]

The plot seems to be more about the film than the book. Does the "bowler-hatted guy" appear in the book ? -- Beardo (talk) 12:56, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, no "bowler-hatted guy" in the book. 70.26.24.206 (talk) 23:04, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

garbled description

[edit]

Would the original writer please fix the horribly garbled second paragraph in the Film Adaptation section? WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 02:31, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lewis

[edit]

Having read the first edition of this book many times, I note that the main character (Lewis) is never named in the original text. Is his name given in the expanded edition, or only in the movie adaptation? 70.26.24.206 (talk) 14:15, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
