Gem Collector/Gentleman confusion[edit]

The focus of this page seems to be bouncing between the early, serial-only edition (Gem Collector) and the version published as a novel. I've noticed it flip from one to the other a couple of times, can we come to some agreement on how it should run? Personally, I think it looks a little odd that a page titled 'Gentleman of Leisure' should start off with 'The Gem Collector is...' - I'd also guess that the Gentleman version, as well as being the one that's in print and mostly seen these days (and in the 20s, going by the edition I have at home), is the one Wodehouse intended as a final and finished one (as far as he ever did). However, some people clearly think the Gem Collector version is pretty important too - perhaps it might make sense to spin that off as its own page? Or make any redirect links on the topic go to a special section of this one (if that's possible these days)? At least we should try to have some debate and hopefully agreement so the page stops flipping back and forth from one camp to the other. JohnnyZen (talk) 09:44, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
