WP:NOLYMPICS guarantees notability, but is not a necessary requirement, see sections for individual sports on that page. There is no section for swimming, but as far as I know, participation in Olympics is sufficient for notability. Thanks, but this does not mean that non-medaling Olympians are not notable, see e.g. criteria for specific sports like athletics. Surely, some sports are more notable than others, but swimming is not an obscure one. Materialscientist (talk) 06:48, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
