Merge[edit]

  • Merge Abdurahman Alamoudi into Abdul Rahman al-Amoudi ... he is the same individual. This page is the older of the two, and it is the correct transliteration of his name, although there are more links to the other one. I don't know how to do it myself, and a redirect must be created because of multiple references to both. I discovered the duplication while repairing American Muslim Council. --Dennette 02:03, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • I have edited the two pages so that it's easier to see which paragraphs are nearly identical ... when I have more time, I'll edit this one so that the other one can just be deleted and redirected. --Dennette 02:47, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have Mr. Alamoudi's business card, and he goes by [Abdurahman Alamoudi], not the later. I knew him once upon a time.--64.93.1.67 20:20, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Abdul Rahman al-Amoudi (Need WP:RS per BLP)[edit]

Hello, CarolMooreDC … FYI, there are some WP:RS links about him at this URL (scroll down to the end of the page) … Happy Editing!—138.88.93.15 (talk · contribs) 21:55, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Above Moved from my talk page: I'm a bit spoiled and not seeing inline references assumed worst that this was made up info - wouldn't be the first time. Later noticed the external links were evidently what passes for references. Anyway, indictments/confessions/etc go in bio, not controversies. So I put it in with good refs; feel free to ref the less controversial material.CarolMooreDC (talk) 22:03, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Been there, done that, sent postcards … I wuz just in the Wrong Phase of my manic-depressive cycle, otherwise I would have added them yself … (missed it by a few days. :-)—138.88.93.15 (talk) 01:24, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is why I say alleged terrorist sympathies-the term "terrorist" is POV. The Israelis themselves founded their state through rape, murder, and ethnic cleansing. My fellow Americans committed the atrocities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki-which means that they need to stop saying, in reference to the Arab-Israeli conflict, that they consider the deliberate killing of civilians in war an unforgivable sin! Of course I would prefer that my government neither fund nor arm either side and stay out. Incidentally, the Hezbollah doctrine during the war of 2006 at least was to only kill civilians to save civilians, offering to halt such attacks to "fight soldier to soldier on the ground or battlefield"-a higher standard than either the Israeli military at the time ("Nothing is safe, as simple as that") or the Allies during World War II.

Also, many if not most governments in the world do not consider Hamas or Hezbollah (at least not in their entirety) to be terrorist organizations, including those considered pro-Israel such as Australia and the United Kingdom. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.190.102.49 (talk) 21:42, 23 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
