Despite unsafe abortion complications being a major contributor of maternal mortality in Uganda, this article on abortion in Uganda is generally limited in content or contributions. Improving discourse in Uganda on reducing the risk of maternal morbidity and mortality due to complications of abortion is warranted despite legal issues around having abortion restrictive laws such as promotion and utilization of effective contraception postpartum such as long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARC). I agree that adding more sections to this article would greatly benefit it. Some things to consider may be a discussion of the impact of the Sustainable Development Goals, as they are more recent than the Millenium Development Goals discussed here, a discussion of the impact of maternal morbidity and mortality due to unsafe abortion, and as the previous user said, a discussion of the role of culture and religion on this topic in Uganda. I believe that the parenthetical entry that equates the pro-choice movement to "pro-abortion" should also be removed, and there is also a sentence in this article that discusses female life expectancy in Uganda, but puts it in terms of a percentage rather than an age in years.
