Software availability[edit]

Currently the Ace Media Website only offers the early prototype Windows-only software [1] under the LGPL, the PCS and CCM software (as demonstrated here: [2]) are not available. I have asked the project coordinator about this, she replied:

We are planning to release some code under open source license in the near future, but at the moment it does not include the annotation tools that I think you are asking for. I will let you know when we have completed all the legal steps to make the software release in case you find it useful.

Don't remove[edit]

This page should not be removed because the description of a European project and piece of software is relevant to Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdouze (talk • contribs)

Prod contested[edit]

Removed prod for the following reasons:

"Non-notable web content project"
- 432,000 google web hits, but only 19 google news hits. This passes the notability meter, I think.
"still unsourced"
- Agreed -- the article needs secondary sources added, not deletion.
"now expired, according to the article itself"
- That a project has completed or expired is not a valid deletion reason.
