Merge[edit]

Anyone want to say why they thought silver and sugar maple should be merged? They are two completely different species, both with decent pages -ChristopherM 01:52, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Freeman maple[edit]

I'd like to propose that Freeman maple should have its own page. It should tie as closely to Acer rubrum as to A. saccharinum, and a separate page would allow expansion. Nadiatalent (talk) 14:23, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Swamp Maple[edit]

I have added swamp maple as another "common" name for silver maple. I can't give a citation for this addition except to say that that is what my father called it when I was growing up in Eastern Ontario. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.22.179 (talk) 11:31, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

CItation found. Now the only one without a citation is Creek Maple. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 13:05, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
