Fixed image and removed caption clarification. Sorry, it was bothering me. :) Jimhsu77479 (talk) 23:56, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Subcellular localization

[edit]

The intro says it is in the endoplasmic reticulum, while the 'Function' section says it is in the cytoplasm. --AngelHerraez (talk) 20:10, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Here is the reference for "two distinct pools of malonyl-CoA" to be inserted when I or someone else has time. DOI: 10.1126/science.1056843 Rdphair (talk) 05:22, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment comment

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Acetyl-CoA carboxylase/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

I believe the flow diagram to be paradoxical to the relating statement. Phosphorylated AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in turn phosphorylates ACC causing its inactivation. The arrows on the flow chart for AMPK and PP2 are both pointing in the wrong direction.

Is it possible that the author of this diagram amend it?
