Possible improvements

[edit]

I have just completed the B class checklist and feel that this article could be improved by addressing the following issues:

  • Referencing: for a successful B class review, an article needs at least one in line citation per paragraph (ideally one per assertion or point that could possibly be disputed);
  • Structure: a more defined structure, including a concise introductory section of between a couple of sentences to a couple of paragraphs, would add to the article. A suggestion might be to use the following structure: Introduction, Background, Fighting, Aftermath, Notes, References, See also, External links. That might help with expansion of the article also.

Just a few ideas. Once you feel it is ready, you may like to seek re-assessment. This can be done by adding the article's name to the list at WP:MHA. Also, if you would like more detail suggestions, you might like to include it on the list at WP:MHPR. Hope this helps. AustralianRupert (talk) 06:24, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Acknowledge Gurkha Valor!!!

[edit]

Why didn't you mention the wartime involvement of the Gurkha regiments? You have their picture, but you're under no obligation to acknowledge their valor in battle. 103.167.232.5 (talk) 02:48, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a specific reference to any particularly notable acts by any troops during this action, they can be added to the article. Yorkist (talk) 09:57, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
