But it needs work, filling in his credits. You should be able to find everything you need via the links in the article. Good luck, and thanks! zerodark | talk 07:49, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Military service overemphasized[edit]

This subject meets the notability criteria for his acting career alone. Many notable actors did stints in the military, and even longer and more distinguished than Driver's two years that ended ten years ago (Jimmy Stewart, a colonel in the USAF after active service in WW2, eg), yet their service is not displayed so prominently in their infobox, and none state "Allegiance: United States Constitution". The driver's infobox is not in accord with Wikipedia conventions and is not encyclopedic; it will have to be reworked. Mmyers1976 (talk) 11:48, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The "Allegiance: United States Constitution" part was the result of vandalism. It probably should have been fixed rather than removed entirely. W00d (talk) 10:23, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Mr. T, Elvis Presley, Alan Alda, MC Hammer, Steve McQueen, Bill Cosby, Chuck Norris, Tony Bennett, James Earl Jones, all entertainers who served in the military at one point, whose military service is roughly the same length as Driver's, none have the military service in the infobox. The only times I have seen military service in the infobox for someone who is well known as an actor are 1. if their military service is strongly linked to their acting career (eg. Dale Dye and R. Lee Ermy), 2. if they had distinguished service in combat during a war, and/or 3. if they had a long and distinguished career in the military (eg. the aforementioned example of Jimmy Stewart), none of which applies to Driver. An infobox has a specific purpose, according to the manual of style: "When considering any aspect of infobox design, keep in mind the purpose of an infobox: to summarize key facts that appear in the article. The less information it contains, the more effectively it serves that purpose, allowing readers to identify key facts at a glance"). Removal was quite appropriate. So what if it's larger than the others' sections? 2600:8805:5800:F500:E1B5:F36:B18B:2720 (talk) 20:05, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Child ?[edit]

I deleted the sentence saying he has a son whose name isn't yet public. The source used was this Esquire article, which doesn't mention any child at all. According to other articles I've seen on this topic (for instance), this is an unconfirmed rumor. --Titlutin (talk) 23:28, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Re: NPR interview[edit]

Page is semi-protected now but there's a brief bit of info about the recent NPR interview - it doesn't especially need to be expanded but it doesn't say his walk off happened (no date) so that should perhaps be added? 2601:282:1300:296:75CE:550C:9217:21B3 (talk) 23:52, 26 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrectly states the Role played in "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance" as "Kyli Ren" instead of the correct "Kylo Ren" 2601:681:527F:D170:C5FC:2DDF:5282:3D9A (talk) 04:59, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Children[edit]

So Adam's amount of children may possibly now be correct, with plenty of articles about Joanne's pregnancy in February and March, this year. Someone tried to change it to "1" back in 2019 and it was undone, so it has been incorrect for at least 3 years. Someone needs to update the Personal Life section. Plenty of references for the pregnancy, I didn't see anything about a birth, which could be 3 months away but probably sooner. Camwad83 (talk) 10:17, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
