Initial remarks[edit]

I created this page and need assistance with following message

A major contributor to this article appears to have a conflict of interest with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page. (April 2009)

Thank you. Aleks kleyn (talk) 02:38, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article appears to draw solely on the research of a paper authored by an Aleks Kleyn, and as such appears to be promotion of your own work, and potentially original research: see WP:NOR. Can you find any references to this subject which aren't self-published, verifying its notability? Thanks, MuffledThud (talk) 02:53, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I found following references in Google book search

  • Leslie Hogben, Richard A. Brualdi, Anne Greenbaum, Roy Mathias,

Handbook of linear algebra, CRC Press, 2007

  • Roger C. Lyndon, Paul E. Schupp,

Combinatorial Group Theory, Springer, 2001

If they do not satisfy demand you can remove this page. Thank you,Aleks kleyn (talk) 03:26, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That looks very good so far, thanks! MuffledThud (talk) 03:29, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect[edit]

I have changed this article to a redirect to Additive function, since they are the same thing. If there is anything missing from that article, please feel free to add it. --Tango (talk) 21:36, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have reversed this. This meaning is merely mentioned in passing in the lead, and the article is devoted to the concept under the same number from number theory, which is definitely not the same thing. I'll move that mention there into a hatnote that points here. —Quondum 22:28, 5 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
