Khom redirects here?

Why is that? "Khom" is a general term for people presumed to be of Khmer descent any where but Cambodia. See the way the word is used in Khom script, and by Ong Kommandam. While I don't have the reference to hand write now, it has been proposed that, just as vandal derived from a ferocious tribe, "Khom" may have derived from Kambojas, Kambojas in Indian literature, Kom people (Afghanistan) and Kom people (India).—Pawyilee (talk) 13:31, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
