About the WikiProject

[edit]

Kosovo is not part of Serbia anymore because Albanians declared independence from Serbia on February 17, 2008. Therefore, the WikiProject Serbia class should be removed. --Arber (talk) 13:14, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Could you provide us with some internationaly promoted document/source in which is stated your saying? Until you do so, statement is unsourced and shows one PoV, the one i'm not agreed with. --PrimEviL 16:16, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Names

[edit]

Names should be reflected primarily in the Albanian language because it is the primary language in the Republic of Kosovo. Serbian names could follow thereafter. --Arber (talk) 13:14, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Names should reflect common English usage, whatever that usage is. For the purpose of writing in the English Wikipedia, the names used in any language other than English, by the people of Kosovo, Serbia, Egypt or China are irrelevant. Remember that articles are intended to be understood by English speakers. - Consistency with other Wikipedia articles is also important. I have modified the article accordingly (diff.). - Regards, Ev (talk) 16:41, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You may not be aware of the related UNMIK regulation, which states that the names in Albanian must precede the names in Serbian. The regulation can be found here: http://www.unmikonline.org/regulations/2000/re2000_43.htm (see Section A of the regulation). Feel free to distribute this source.--Arbër Let's talk 09:12, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Districts of Kosovo?

[edit]

This article needs to be updated. In the commons there are 3 map versions of the Districts of Kosovo, which of them is correct? There is maps of Serbian districts in the period 1991-1999/2000, this is OK, but which are the boundaries of the districts/regions created by UNMIK? Which are the boundaries of the regions created after Kosovo independence declaration of 2008? Do they exist? --Пакко (talk) 08:04, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
