Free use image
[edit]Wikipedia wants images that are freely available to anybody, whereas most publicity photos are still owned by somebody who wants to retain control. Of course Wikipedia makes exceptions where there is no free alternative available (somebody's dead, for example, or to depict a character rather than an actor), but in the case of a living celebrity that's not a realistic argument - theoretically, you could attend a film festival or award ceremony and take a pic. See Brad Pitt for an example. (Quentin X 20:22, 7 March 2007 (UTC))
- I don't understand. Why is this picture okay to use on the Nathan Petrelli Character page, but not on this one.annoynmous 22:05, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- ==Image of Adrian Pasdar==
Simply put, the image used in Adrian Pasdar can be replaced by a 'freer' image, i.e. one of him at an awards ceremony, at a ball game or walking down the street. The image in Nathan Petrelli can be replaced by a similar photo. As the Adrian Pasdar image can be replaced it is not free. As Wikipedia is a free website, the photo is only allowed under Nathan Petrelli or anything to do with Heroes. Please do not put the image back again without discussing it further. I will put a needs to be replaced marker down in the meantime. (Quentin X 22:46, 7 March 2007 (UTC))
- Why not just use the image from the Profit t.v series in the meantime? Just a thought. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.104.52.62 (talk) 08:27, 18 April 2007 (UTC).
He does have a mixed backround encluding iranian, But i don't think he grew up with that side of the family so if he can speak persian, He can probably only say a few sentences. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.142.209.89 (talk) 11:46, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Adrian Pasdar YouTube?
[edit]How come there's no article about him making videos of him and his cast members (especially during the World Tour) in YouTube? His YouTube account has become the most subscribed of the month (http://www.youtube.com/user/buckshotwon). 202.93.237.107 14:07, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
It was mentioned on 9th Wonders and a few other sites, just not widely mentioned to the public. Sstrieu 01:30, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
French?
[edit]Not to nitpick, but can we really say he's of French Heritage? I have people tell me I'm not of South African heritage even though my mom's family lived there for three generations. As far as I can tell, his mother was only in France for a middle segment of her life, being born in Germany and ultimately moving to the US. Just thought it was worth mentioning. 132.170.42.42 07:50, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Iranian, why no german?!
[edit]to be honest, how can we say he's iranian-american, when he was born in america? his dad is iranian and his mother german, so why is he only iranian-american, and not german-iranian-american?? you see how silly it may seem, but why pick on iranian and leave out german??? that's why he should just be american. he can't be two of three, he has to be three of three. unless someone can explain why it's only iranian-american? 194.221.133.211 (talk) 10:51, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Furthermore, why is his name transliterated into Persian? Just because his father is Iranian? That seems racist. I'm removing it. --Watchreader (talk) 02:41, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
External Links
[edit]I've tried to add an external link which I thought was relevant to this page.
http://adrianpasdarfansite.com
This is the first website, I've seen, completed devoted to Adrian Pasdar, it has a lot of documented informations. I thought it was a great link to share.
It's a French based fan-site, but they have installed "google translate" to make it "easier" for non-French speaker...
It really is a goldmine of informations, really!!!
They were no intention of spamming on my behalf, I've just wanted to add something I thought was quite relevant...
My best regards to the wiki team ;)

Forever Adam character (voice)
[edit]Forever show revealed Adam to be Burn Gorman. Is Adrian Pasdar still voicing the character? Mittgaurav (talk) 03:38, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
