The phrase "immigrated to the United States" is inappropriate[edit]

The phrase "immigrated to the United States" is inappropriate. It has a geographical bias which reveals a bias on the part of the author. I'm not the original author, but stumbled across this note here and figured sure, why not change it? I've kept the link to the immigration article, however.
