Reason for removing speedy deletion[edit]

As a governors wife she was the main female role model of the colony, which her substantial, and referenced, online encyklopedic article describes. That the article is unreferenced is just silly - it had a source, all you had to do whas to reference it, you can see for yourself that it confirms everything.--Aciram (talk) 14:22, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As I was stating, the one source (and yes, there is only one here) is not the main issue here. There has been very little editing here in the past 4 years, which is plenty of time for users to find relevant and sourced information about her. In addition, as I was saying, every information about her could be placed in her husband's article, as at the moment it is barely enough to fill a stub. That is, if somehow we manage to improve the article significantly, then the article is salvageable. Cheers! Double Plus Ungood (talk) 14:54, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There are no time limit in aproving an article on wikipedia. That no one had the interest to improve it does not mean it can not be improved. The post on my talk page cleary said I could remove the tag. And you should really not remove references. She has her own article in a Dutch women's encylopedia. That is linked, and it clearly demonstrate that the article can be expanded. That no one has bothered to, still does not mean its impossible, as that link clearly proves. Cheers!--Aciram (talk) 15:37, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent! I noticed how well-documented she was, and will close the discussion. The opinions are overwhelmingly for keep, and I do see the reasoning. I only saw mentions about her husbands on the article, but should have looked further for sources. Thanks for all you work and I hope we can improve it further to do her justice!
