I don't see why this article is an ad

[edit]

I don't see why this article is an advert, since it is just a list of performances made by Adrienne, so I removed the advert error. If anyone adds the error back, can you please explain why this article seems to be an advert, because it is mainly just a list of performances, which does not qualify in my eyes as an advert.

Sincerely, Thenewright22 (talk) 01:58, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Melcous has reverted my edit, even though I said this article doesn't feel like an advert. Can you explain why?
Sincerely, Thenewright22 (talk) 07:07, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thenewright22 I did not revert your edit. There were three maintenance templates on the article and you removed all three, but only gave an explanation for removing the advert one. I restored the other two. Melcous (talk) 07:10, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for explaining, I'll be more cautious in editing articles, as I normally make huge, major changes to just fix one error, do you have ideas on how I can edit better?
Sincerely, Thenewright22 (talk) 07:12, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, there are now links from the article about Adrienne to other Wikipedia articles now, such as the cabaret and Juilliard School , so I suggest that the orphan article error should be removed.
Sincerely, Thenewright22 (talk) 07:15, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The orphan tag is about incoming links, not outgoing links. Melcous (talk) 07:29, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've just added a new link from this category Category:Alumni of St Mary's University, Twickenham to this article, is this sufficient enough to remove the orphan article error? Thenewright22 (talk) 07:35, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, it needs to be from articles, not categories. It is also not acceptable to add her name into articles as you have done without proper sourcing, and without it being clear that her name belongs in the other article because it is a worthwhile addition to the content there. Melcous (talk) 08:15, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is a tough article to improve, I'll guess I'll leave it alone for now. Thenewright22 (talk) 08:45, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
