Former South African Pavilion

... that the South African Pavilion (pictured) at the 1938 Empire Exhibition in Glasgow became the canteen at an explosives factory? "The former South Africa pavilion with its distinctive curvilinear Dutch Baroque gables is one of the few remaining buildings from the Glasgow Empire Exhibition of 1938, held at Bellahouston Park ... Date and length fine. However @Dumelow:, there's no mention of an explosives factory in it. Is ICI an explosives company? That needs to be made clear. QPQ done, no close paraphrasing. I'm a bit confused, the article states: " Africa House was purchased by ICI Nobel and relocated to their explosives manufacturing site in Ardeer, North Ayrshire", cited to Private Eye, an extract from which I've provided above - Dumelow (talk) 20:03, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
