Waiver

As can be seen here, the US had no WTO waiver for AGOA. The attempt to get one was blocked by Paraguay. [1] Happily ever after 06:26, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Expulsions

"Indirect Imperial Tribute"

Sociologist Michael Mann in the cited source argues the dollar "exacts indirect imperial tribute," not the legislation itself. This criticism is of US dollar hegemony, and is only indirectly related to the AGOA, which does not impose anything Mann calls tribute on its own, unless I'm misunderstanding the source. 2601:402:4581:C500:BCBF:A021:CDB8:9DE0 (talk) 19:51, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
