Your recent edits

@Qaqaamba: I reverted one of the edits you made to the article because it negates the fact that Hip Hop started in the Bronx. There is absolutely nothing wrong with including this info. You do not have a valid reason to remove this info from the article and did not leave a valid reason in your edit summary. Also, you need to stop cluttering the article with inline citations. What you did in the street pop section isn't tidy. At the end of the last sentence, you have the citations listed like this---->[29][30][31][32][33][34] You need to visit the WP:CITEKILL article and read about citation overkill.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 15:02, 12 August 2024 (UTC)

Add a citation at the end of the each sentence in the street pop section; do not add a whole bunch of inline citations at the end of the last sentence. Learn to do the right thing and learn to take advice. Do not be hellbent on doing things as you see fit.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 15:13, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
@Qaqaamba:. This is a response to the post that you removed. How the hell does acknowledging the origin of hip hop music "lack neutrality in tone"? You did not have a valid reason to remove that particular info and did not leave a valid reason in your edit summary. You claimed to be making minor copy edits to the lede when in fact your edits removed vital info from the lede. Like I said, add a reliable source to each sentence in the street pop section. It is sloppy to clutter the article with inline citations. You do not want to accept this fact. I will revert your edits if you restored the article to one of your previous revision. Report me if you disagree with me. You are not a team player and don't like taking corrections. You also never admit when you're wrong.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 15:23, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
Hello Versace1608. It's a pleasure to interact with you again. Given that you have been or are still monitoring my edits as per promised by you 2-3 months agp, it would be evident that I am the one who added the section and sentence concerning African origins I did not remove those words to "negate" as you suggested; rather, it was because it seemed to lack neutrality in tone. The first sentence in the lead already addresses the matter (the Bronx, origin), and repeating this information alongside scholarly arguments appeared biased and may suggest an agenda, particularly in favor of African hip hop. Additionally, paragraphs can also be appropriately cited at the end (WP:ILC - Inline citations are often placed at the end of a sentence or paragraph). Aside from that, please refrain from engaging on my talk page. Thank you for your valued input, and happy editing Qaqaamba (talk) 15:24, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
I removed it to be more tidy as I realized it appeared as a dup section as you already created one Qaqaamba (talk) 15:25, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
I am not monitoring your edits. I have had the African hip hop article on my watchlist long before you started editing it. I don't know how you've falsely concluded that I am monitoring you. You must really think that you are some kind of important figure for me to following. For your info, I have way better things to do than to follow you around. If it was left with me, the Afro fusion article you created would have been deleted. From interacting with you, I can confidently say that you do not like taking corrections and you never admit when you're wrong. Instead of trying to justify your inclusion of inline citations, you should have replace all the CN templates I added with reliable sources. I don't know how hard that can be.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 15:38, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
Hhhhmm, time for receipts fam, as per your own words "I will monitor all your edits moving forward" —"Versace1608 Wanna Talk? April 2024 (UTC)". Oh, imposing a negative dominance and invalidating - WP:PA, again? Interesting, lol. Stop foruming and topic-diverging the talk page, for God's sake. 🤣 Again, thank you for your guidance, I appreciate it. Qaqaamba (talk) 15:56, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
Trust me, if I was monitoring your edits, we would have had lots of conversations back and forth and probably would have opened up a complaint at ANI. When I said I will monitor all your edits moving forward, I meant edits to the Afro-fusion article. I personally don't have much interest in said article or the time to scrutinize all of your edits. I don't spend a lot of time on Wikipedia like I used to; I also have way more important things to do with my time. Having said that, I want you to remember that if you make problematic edits to pages on my watchlist, I will address them and take the necessary steps needed. By the way, you don't have the right to tell me what I can or can't post on this talk page. I am not forcing you to reply to my post. Who knows, you might not even be a new editor here and may have been blocked before. I find it odd that you called me an "old friend" not too long ago.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 17:20, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
HELP! HarrySONofBARRY, please come and collect your companion. I am exhausted 🤣 Qaqaamba (talk) 18:06, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
@Versace1608 I just saw the Afrobeats Good Article reassessment and noticed numerous instances of what you refer to as "citekill" and many unsourced statements, and you edit there frequently and recently. Despite this, you're here focusing on a single section and a few words with me. So what is your damn problem? Go and touch grass and leave me the hell alone. Qaqaamba (talk) 18:23, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
You need to be careful how you speak to me. I don't have anything to do with the Afrobeats article. I am not the one who created the article or brought it to GA status. I am also not responsible for the reassessment. I have only performed minor edits to the article and reverted some bad edits. What does the Afrobeats article have to do with the discussion we were having on the talk page of the African hip hop article?  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 18:44, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
What relevance did Afro-fusion and WP: PA and accusations towards me have to do with this article, especially months after that AfD? , you are engaging in trivial discussions with me while claiming not to have time. Qaqaamba (talk) 18:50, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
I did not personally attacked you. If you feel like I did, report me man. As far as accusations go, I did not accuse you of anything. I only said you may not be new to Wikipedia because it was odd for you to call me an "old friend". If I find evidence that you're a sock puppet or someone who is evading their block, I will report you. You can take that to the bank. If you do not want to add reliable sources to support the info you added to that section, then you do not have any right to remove the citation needed templates I added to said section. I don't understand why you can't just spend some time backing up those sentences with reliable sources.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 20:00, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
I am unclear as to why these matters are being raised on this article's talk page. For the record, I was being sarcastic regarding the AfD from months ago, and my comments were intended to be congenial, which seems to be a concept you find unfamiliar. It is apparent that you continue to monitor my edits and adhere to WP: PA. Furthermore, your persistent accusations and threats are not only vexing but suggest either boredom or a possible agenda on your part, particularly given the off-topic nature of the discussion on this talk page. I do not seek nor strive to engage in reports or disputes. Therefore, I will refrain from further responses or interactions. I wish you all the best and happy editing. Qaqaamba (talk) 21:22, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
I see that you've replaced the citation needed templates with sources. However, you're still continuing to overload the article with a whole bunch of inline citations. Why must one sentence have three to four citations? I am going to go through all of those sources and if they do not support the sentence, I will remove them and re-add the citation needed templates. You have a tendency of adding info that isn't consistent with the sources. The Afrofusion article you created is filled with sources that doesn't support the info in the article. The paragraph you added isn't long so I will definitely be scrutinizing it.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 23:46, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
