This article is currently flagged for lacking inline citations (and reasonably so), which disqualifies it for DYK. It's not enough that the fact you use for the hook be provided in the lead of the article; it also needs to be cited in the original article. Brian (talk) 12:30, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Bdhamilton, nominations for DYK are not failed immediately when they do not meet the criteria; the {{DYK?}} and {{DYK?no}} can give time to nominators (especially new nominators) to fix issues that may arise before they are approved.   - @theleekycauldron and @Ficaia: Apologies for being curt and inhospitable! I was moving too quickly. I did (and still do) think that the article needs too much work in terms of citations to be a good candidate for DYK. It's not only that the main hook is not sourced in the article; the entire article is undercited as it stands. I think you've done some excellent work building out the substance of the article, but I personally don't think it's ready for this forum right now. I’ve still got some questions about the claim of the hook: you say here the icon is supposed to have been painted by Luke, but the article just says it’s associated with Luke, and my preliminary scan of the sources reveal conflicting things.
