This article (which, incidentally, lacks sources almost completely) is clearly written by an advocacy group to right a claimed Great Wrong. Feketekave (talk) 00:57, 9 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Factual sources/more info added

[edit]

I previously removed the request for citations as well as the deletion request because many factual citations have been added to improve the accuracy of the information presented here. In the process of updating the subject matter on this topic, I aimed to remove any biased information and inserted a variety of purely factual sources. The deletion request was submitted before the now 57 different sources were added; thus, I believe reasons behind a deletion request have been eliminated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PagoJusto (talkcontribs) 13:53, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

For the information of non-Spanish-speakers: the username "PagoJusto" means "FairPayment". There is not even an attempt towards NPOV. This is a usage of Wikipedia as advocacy, pure and simple. Feketekave (talk) 15:01, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Question About Para 3 - No Sense

[edit]

"This default has been attributed to the deteriorating economic situation, which resulted in terrible hyperinflation (as described in paragraphs 45 and 46), the winding down of the Agrarian Bank that took place from 1992[12] and the currency switch from Soles Oro to Inti.[13]" What are paragraphs 45 & 46? Of what? 169.252.4.23 (talk) 21:50, 12 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ban

[edit]

It seems worth pointing out that PagoJusto, the primary author of the page as it stands, has been banned from Wikipedia for good. Perhaps this is a good time to document the page's (fairly obvious) POV violations, with a view to possibly nominating it for deletion. It was clearly created to Right Great Wrongs (viz., take part in a campaign to tarnish Peru's credit rating as some sort of blackmail, in the hope of (most likely pointless) hope of generating wealth for the few semi-feudal lords from before 1968 that are still sticking around, or for speculators, as the case may be.
