To other editors:

This article could definitely undergo some more style checks. Sentences are understandable, but overall the entire page lacks a feel of professionalism. I'll work on it as my daily workload allows.

Regards, Jacqueline M.

To the other editors:

This article seemed biased towards certain characters, so I did some re-writing. I'm sorry, I'm not terribly familiar with Wikipedia policies, but as much as I like Kazuki-chan (and as pitiable as Ikkou's situation is) I felt I had to do something to make it sound more objective. I think this article might still lack professionalism, but I hope I've made it easier to work with for future editors and more helpful to the idly curious.

Openers/ Closers

[edit]

Does anyone know the artists for them? I know the actual names, but nothing more.

Season 1: Opening: (Afurete Yuku no wa Kono Kimochi) I'm pretty sure that's not the name, but that's what it says from what I have. Closing: Happy Days

Season 2: Opening: Amaenaideyo!! Closing: Lonesome Traveler —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chunky Milk (talkcontribs) 01:42, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not Harem

[edit]

This series is not a harem anime. Only Chitose from the female cast is suspected of liking Ikko. The antagonist from the second season Kazuki is the only one that shows openly that she loves Ikko by the end. Some others only flirt but are not serious about actually wanting any relationship with him. Two girls does not constitute a harem. —Preceding unsigned comment added by GrimoireMyst (talkcontribs) 21:02, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is definition of "harem anime" sounds controversial. I am not certain that it is necessary for the females to have an interest in the male lead in order to qualify this as "harem anime." Even in a real harem, you just need multiple women married to a single man to qualify. The distinguishing feature of harem anime is to have numerous attractive females surrounding a single male lead, which this show definitely features. If the convention of the harem anime genre decrees that the women must like him to be part of the harem, then perhaps one need only qualify "harem anime" by pointing out that it deviates from this particular convention, - and many shows, movies, books, etc. do deviate from particular conventions from time to time, even while mostly keeping to the spirit of a certain genre whose conventions they defy. - adn —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.129.201.140 (talk) 22:43, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is a harem anime. Not everyone liked the main guy in Love Hina, but it was a harem anime. Also shouldn't the main page read "Amaenaideyo, incorrectly translated to Ah my buddah in the US"? What they call it here is not correct by any stretch of the word. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.189.1.106 (talk) 04:41, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just being surrounded by female characters doesn't make it a harem if they are all just friends. Check the definition of harem anime on this very site or others and its says that multiple women (Three or more.) attracted or in love with one man. Same for a reverse harem where many men go after one women. —Preceding unsigned comment added by GrimoireMyst (talkcontribs) 20:03, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
