First pass

[edit]

This article will need references for some of the intro generalities, and I may also add some graphs. I mention "ratemeter" here and I'm working on an article on that subject. There are also many places to "build the web" in here and I'll get to that as time permits. Rb88guy (talk) 01:35, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Add some more material

[edit]

I know the references need to be fixed up and there are lots of Wiki links to do. Going to redo the plots, and then add a final (?) section on quant methods.Rb88guy (talk) 16:28, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done adding stuff

[edit]

I think this should be about it. Need to clean up, improve, & add references, links, etc. but I think the content is done. Rb88guy (talk) 02:00, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, not quite...

[edit]

Added a bunch of references, esp for regulatory stuff, so the refs are all out of order now. Will fix in the next day or so. Sure would be easier to edit refs in their own section instead of going back into each section where they occur. May want to add some more words on calibration, detector types, release (Q-integration) vs estimating Q, parent-progeny situations. That should do it. Should be about done now; added some of this stuff, I think the refs are ok. Should only need a few tweaks, maybe a bit more on calibrations. Rb88guy (talk) 03:05, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Improvement

Improvement

I've rationalised the headings, and put in words to point out those specific bits where US practice is cited. Also clarified reprocessing use for such as alpha. We need someone to write in the ICRU/ICRP view. Dougsim (talk) 22:45, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
