Merge[edit]

What are you talking about? Merge with what? Subject of the article is the First Lady of Nigeria and that is enough for a stand-alone article apart from the fact that she also met WP:BASIC. The "infobox first lady" was designed for a purpose. Wikigyt@lk to M£ 21:30, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I meant merge Aisha Muhammadu Buhari into this article. Ali Fazal (talk) 23:43, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Alifazal; That's fine, I have no prejudice against that but this is not how to go about it. The proposal is suppose to be on the Aisha Muhammadu Buhari page with a valid reason why it should be merged. Coming to this page to say "Support - as nominator." Is not what I will consider reasonable (to be factual). Thanks! Wikigyt@lk to M£ 05:21, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Wikicology, I inserted the 'merge into' template on that article and then clicked 'Discuss' which led me to this talkpage. Ali Fazal (talk) 10:24, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
How does the article get merged? Can anyone kindly explain?Brendafash (talk) 14:12, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Aisha's title as First Lady[edit]

Mr President's intention to abolish the office of the First Lady does not invalidate Aisha from using the title "First Lady". The title "First Lady" is an unofficial title widely used to address the wife of a President or Head of State worldwide. Aisha is still Nigeria's incumbent First Lady irrespective of the role she plays as the wife of the President of Nigeria. Eruditescholar (talk) 11:01, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
