I rated this article a stub due in part to the fact that it does not really comply to the Manual of Style, and because of the tiny sections on History and Geography, which could be expanded to include more information. For the Geography section, one could include local rivers, or major roads and highways that pass through or nearby the village. Also the Additional Facts About Akron, New York section, which is a Trivia section (Wikipedia frowns upon such sections), could be split up, with its information used to supplement and plant other sections (For example: the data about Akron's schools can be put under an Education section, the first paragraph could be included in the Geography section).

I rated this article as Low-importance because of its small population and relative anonymity on an international scale.
