the wording and tone of this article seems to not meet Wikipedia's neutrality standards when it comes to contemporary biographies, particularly of contentious political figures.73.8.198.96 (talk) 07:26, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

much of this article seems to be written by people who are not at home in the English language — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.225.170.9 (talk) 17:42, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

don't understand why dieudonné is in the anti-semitic category and not alain soral 88.162.237.17 02:47, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He cannot be classified as anti-semitic as long as he hasn't been convicted by a french court for it. Most of what he says on Zionism is less extreme than some Jewish thinkers like Finkelstein. It would be libel to put anti-semitic on this page.

yes i agree but dieudonné hasn't been convicted by any french court for anti-semetism either. On the other hand the head of national front Jean-Marie Le Pen has been convicted twice and he's not on any racism category 88.162.237.17 20:58, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since when does somebody have to be convicted by a French court to be identified as an anti-Semite? It's not an official category. Pascalulu88 (talk) 00:30, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Problematic sentence[edit]

Consider this:

"Soral himself believes the act to have been the work of an extremist Jewish group such as the Betar or the Jewish Defense League.[16]"

The problem here is that Betar is not an extremist group at all, while the JDL certainly is. Their conflation mischaraterizes Betar. But I am reluctant to simply edit the sentence because it might be a quote of sorts. To complicate matters further, the link is broken.

Ideas what to do about this? Bazuz (talk) 09:17, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK, no replies for two months, so I'll have a go at it as I see fit. Bazuz (talk) 11:54, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Convicted of Holocaust denial[edit]

Only five different people were ever convicted in France for Holocaust denial (see Laws against Holocaust denial), Soral is not part of them. It's probably a confusion with his conviction for hate speech. Blaue Max (talk) 08:00, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
