Did Alex Toth work on Jonny Quest? I thought they were Doug Wiley's designs and concept.-—Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.113.212.235 (talkcontribs)

Fair use rationale for Image:Spaceghost.jpg

[edit]

Image:Spaceghost.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:29, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Update about Jonny Quest credit.

[edit]

Ok, I deleted this Johnny Quest credit, because I haven't seen any real sources with exception to BBC? (how did they come up with that?). I never heard of Alex Toth doing this show. This is Doug Wiley's creation; his drawing style is very similar, but it is a bit more realistic and less cartoony than Toth's work). I'm not a huge Toth fan and I might be wrong, but if anybody knows something to clarify this issue that would be great.

Take a look here for Toth's model sheets for a 1964 episode of Jonny Quest (no "h" in Jonny), then make the necessary addition to the article.

Toth also worked on the Clutch Cargo, Space Angel, Herculoids, and Super Friends animated cartoons, amongst many others. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.190.144.211 (talk) 21:24, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Toth did work on at least one episode of "Jonny Quest" - episode 22, "The Quetong Missile Mystery." The model sheets are easily seen online which more than confirm this. By the way, the cartoon's creator was Doug Wildey, not Wiley. Not a coyote.

Adult Swim

[edit]

Is there any documented evidence on just what Toth thought about his creations being used like they were in the Adult Swim cartoons? It's just that i think this is something that needs to be examined... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.68.18.2 (talk) 14:23, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
