Sports car classification[edit]

I wouldn't exactly call the Brera a sports car as its not all that fast and is not in the 911 or even say boxster league. It's only got a 200hp engine and isn't light like a lotus for a good power to weight ratio.

the fact that is a sport car is just an opinion too, not supported by anything. additionally, usa official car classificantion doesn't define a 'sport car' class, so even if it were, that's not a proper term nor an actual definition. more to the point, by taking from the very own wikipedia class page, alfa brera could be found as a grand tourer

Its got 260 hp engine, but Its more GT car than real sports car, until GTA variant will be available but is sure looks gorgeous

Brera is not a luxury, high performance grand tourer, it's basend on a compact executive car, not luxury car. 260hp is not enough to be included into high performance club.~GTV, Brera and GT are not grand tourers, only 8C is.YBSOne (talk) 20:22, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why not 2 diffrent pages for 2 diffrent cars?[edit]

Because of the many similarities, just like Alfa Romeo GTV and Spider (916) they are basically the same car with different roof and seating arrangements.YBSOne (talk) 20:20, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Grugliasco factory was buy by Rossignolo (De Tomaso) and production of Brera, Spider and Focus C-C end in 2010
