Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... this page has been created for 90 minutes, is referenced, and explains that he was a nobleman, which at the time, would absolutely have been understood to equate to notability.--Boleyn (talk) 21:04, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Boleyn! I'm sorry for tagging this so early; I forgot to translate between my local time and the UTC time on Wikipedia, and therefore thought it had been up for some time already. Anyway I tried looking for your first reference (not easy when you don't include the title of the work), and what I found did not mention this person at all. Could you clarify the references. I'm not sure I agree with nobility being a credible claim of significance; to my knowledge there were quite a few nobles around back in the day, but only some of them are notable. Since this is already tagges, I think it's reasonable to wait for the responding admin to decide. Again, sorry for the inappropriately early tagging. -- Maddy from Celeste (WAVEDASH) 21:19, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
