Alfred Aeppli Jr?

Is this man the father of the late Alfred Aeppli from Switzerland who was professor of mathematics at the University of Minnesota? Michael Hardy (talk) 19:21, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. Seems likely, but I couldn't find a source to that end. The Minnesota Aeppli's dissertation at the ETH mentions that his father supervised his first mathematical work, but doesn't provide a name or any other facts. Huon (talk) 20:10, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
