Recent numerous small changes[edit]

I'm a bit concerned that we lost something between here (Appraiser's changes) and here (Richard Arthur Norton (1958- )). Specifically, I think we've lost a few references and more importantly, lost what the references support. For example

  • here we lost the http://pdfhost.focus.nps.gov/docs/NHLS/Text/70000925.pdf supporting documents
  • here where the "nhlsum" reference used on pretty much every other NHL in the country was changed to point to the top level nps site, but not an alice austen specific one.
  • This edit added a nytimes article about the neighborhood housing market with one sentence about the Alice Austen house mentioning it was a museum. Several edits later, it appears this now supports that the house is on the HHT

Reading the (diff) makes some of this easier to follow. I dont believe there is any malice or ill will here, in fact, quite the opposite in that references were added and text improved. I suspect it was too many edits in too short a time. Comments? Suggestions for improvements before I start re-editing? dm (talk) 15:45, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I actually drafted some changes I wanted to make, but I don't appear to have that doc here with me. I've been working on a number of Historic House Trust properties as a part of personal interest/the museums project but hadn't yet gotten to this one. I'm happy to let you take the lead and I can backfill if you have more time at the moment for this article than I do. There's a ton of reference material available about the house's rise to museum/HHT/NRHP, etc. I think it can be fleshed out easily. Thoughts? TravellingCari 16:21, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm about to wiki-disappear for a day or two dm (talk) 16:32, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK so whoever gets to it first then :) TravellingCari 17:22, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

references that have extended pull quotes?[edit]

I cant help but notice the references are longer than the article itself. Any objections if we trim them down? dm (talk) 04:50, 24 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
