Why did her work "disappear"?[edit]

The Wik article does not say why her work was not very visible, but the statement comes after comments about her politics, leading to a ready-to-hand inference that it was due to her politics. Another possibility has to do with her style, a view indicated here: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/02/books/review/Solomon-t.html?nl=books&emc=booksupdateema4.
