I don't think the other names listed for the grape in infobox are correct - Steen and Pineau de la Loire are Chenin Blanc and Pinot Bianco is Pinot Blanc the synonyms in the Regional production section seem right to me. Unless I'm wrong, the infobox should probably be changed to have the names from the article as the synonyms :) --- The Bethling(Talk)08:20, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I was curious about those too. I think your source might be off. Both Jancis Robinson & Oz Clarke list the ones in the article as synonyms but not the three in the infobox. AgneCheese/Wine18:38, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hello all-
In a quick look today, I noticed a big discrepancy between what this article and the fr version give for acreage planted (45,000 hectares on en vs 1,000 hectares on fr). I haven't had a chance to look into this yet myself, but wanted to send up a flare until I can. -Erictalk21:32, 25 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well it is quite simple, frwiki claims that Aligoté est cultivé en France to the tune 1000 ha, while this article cites a figure for worldwide plantation. Tomas e (talk) 02:38, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
