1. Use the sources to create accurate text, with inline citations.

2. Add sources to any parts of the existing text that can be substantiated.

3. Remove the remaining unsourced text.

4. Reorganize the article.

From assertion to article[edit]

As currently written the article is mainly unsourced 'original research' with an emphasis on names and villages rather than on history, geography and politics.

The Complex Operations wiki on the Alizai contains a good account of recent politics since 1978, much of it based on the Courage Services report on Helmand province. It also contains a sourced account of the geography and tribal organization of the Alizai. Clearly this and its sources could be mined to improve the article.

Most of the existing text probably needs to be pruned or removed, unless the sources substantiate it. Chiswick Chap (talk) 13:37, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
