Adding a works list

[edit]

Greetings,

I would like to add a list of works for this composer. The data I have is derived from Baker's, the CMC web-site and the composer's website and works list.

How can I best go about doing this and how should it be formatted?

Any advice much appreciated.

Greetings,

Not having heard from anyone, I went ahead and inserted some selected works. I aim to add in more over the next few days, with the intention of including all his works (not a huge number). gRumsong (talk) 22:02, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings,

I've added more works to the theatrical list. Some I have dates fro, some not. The dated works are derived from the Canadian Encyclopedia: must I provide a footnote for them and if so how best to do it? Rumsong (talk) 22:16, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings,

Foolish me. I was confused about the 'See Also' section and did not understand that it was for internal Wiki links. Now I know. I have removed the offending material. SORRY!!! Rumsong (talk) 22:36, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings,

I've removed some unrequired talk and also added chamber works to 1982. More should follow. He has been very prolific in the chamber music area... Rumsong (talk) 01:34, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings, I really need some help here. Allan Rae had a website, but it seems to have vanished. Should I link to one (circa 2012) that can be found at the Wayback Machine?

I also have added material from a resume he sent me, though all of the works are listed at the website and the information can be found there. Should I somehow make mention of these sources. And if so, how?

BTW In the previous message, I mentioned I removed some unrequired talk -- all mine. Just blather. Sorry. Rumsong (talk) 05:21, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings,

After some comments at Wiki Teahouse, and the inclusion of warning headers, I will remove the couple of works only found through Rae's resume. All of the other works can be found either at: the Canadian Music Centre's website or Rae's own website. So, how does one reference those? 206.75.74.173 (talk) 03:53, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Press clippings

[edit]

Greetings, I've obtained about 60 pages from the Canadian Music Centre of press clippings about Allan Rae and his career. I will be adding data over the next few weeks to try to bring this article up to standards. Rumsong (talk) 21:02, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
